This is my first post on this blog. This Blog will be used to publish my AS Media Studies work. 

What is media?

Media is a way for a single person to communicate with people from around the world with ease. Media is used across many different platforms, including television, radio, newspapers, the internet and many others. Media is increasingly becoming a part of everyday human life, and it is seen everywhere we go, and in everything we do. 

Why I chose Media Studies.

I chose Media Studies for my AS Levels, as I did not get the opportunity to study it as a GCSE and the subject interests me greatly. I would like to learn more about it as we use Media everyday, and most people do not know how it works 'behind the scenes.' It is an important industry that is a prominent part of modern life.
